Essential Windows are experts in providing composite doors.
Composite doors are a relatively new addition to the world of doors and have a number of excellent benefits. They are hard wearing and durable, but also easily individualised.
Composite doors have been designed to maximise the benefits of uPVC and wooden doors, taking the best of both worlds in their design technology.
Although traditional wooden doors are great to look, at they do have a number of drawbacks. A key one of which is the requirement for regular maintenance.
uPVC doors have a number of benefits but do not always have the look and feel that people want.
A composite door is made from PVC, wood, insulting foam and glass reinforced plastic (or grp) so that the combination of these materials provide maximum strength and security.
The outer frame of a composite door is made on uPVC with galvanised steel reinforcement. A pvc subframe provides stability and a hardwood inner frame provides rigidity.
Perhaps the distinguishing feature of a composite door however is its finish. These doors can be finished in many different colours and with a grainy surface. The surface does not warp or bow and very importantly, it does not require any regular maintenance, just a wipe over with a damp cloth.
At Essential Windows we like to offer you choice. We supply and fit high quality composite doors in a number of grain finishes, styles and patterns and with a range of door furniture. The choice is yours.
